Chokdee Family
Member : Chokdee Namwan and Mae so
Story: Chokdee is the youngest elephant in NEH. She is 7 months old and Mae So is a Chokdee mother. Chokdee can’t eat yet, but she is learning how to eat now. She is breastfeeding so she always stays by her mom side. Namwan is 5 years old, and she is a Chokdee adopt sister. She always stays with Chokdee and Mae So. In addition, Namwan would like to call or take Chokdee to go around camp and river which Chokdee always follow Namwan. In addition, Namwan always follows Chokdee and Mae So wherever they go. Sometime the keeper worries about Chokdee when they go down in river with Namwan because Chokdee cannot swim well. However, Chokdee enjoys staying with Namwan and is glad to have Namwan as a sister. Namwan be both of sister and friend for Chokdee.
Mo Ngue and Mae Nhai
Member : Mae Nai and Mo Ngue
Story: Mai Nai and Mo Ngue are best friends and good sisters. They have the same character. Mo Ngue is older Mae Nai, but they can stay together and be like a family. Wherever they go, they would like to go, take a bath and play together. Therefore, they also share food together even though they do not have a lot of food. The important thing for them is they don’t want to separate from each other. For instance, when they don’t see each other in the morning, they run around in the camp looking at each other or screaming. If one of them screams, that’s mean one of them disappears or not stay by her side. That’s why they have only one keeper and they always stay together.
